This just proves you don't need all your fingers to do quality work.

Yeah but it does help. While making the cabinets it has let me see what tools I'm really needing and the main one is clamps. Another thing is I'm wondering if it is better to pre finish before assembling. Also I run out of sandpaper so bought some emergency sheets to get the job done. Don't like it too many holes where the holes isn't and the dust seems to get trapped in them. I have ordered abranet to use in the future.

Getting there with the units now all varnished quiet pleased with how they have turned out so far. For the glass I got some plexiglass then hit it with the sander to give it the desired effect . All thier is to do now is buy the hinges for the top units, handles and catches Attachments:

Ha!.. you have the same clamps as me!.. I need to get some decent clamps too. There have been some good deals on Bessey UK at the moment, they don't seem to want to ship to France though :-(
The plexiglass has turned out well like that. Did you bond it in place to stop any noise from movement?

Yeah the plexiglass is all bonded nothing worse than rattly glass in a door. I absolutely hate the clamps. Hopefully soon get some decent piher or bessay clamps

Varnished by hand. I might look in to spraying in the future certainly would be easier and quicker

Here is some pics of the kitchen units getting fitted. Well pleased with the way it's coming along and so is my mate . The oven housing and opening of the fridge is all extra. For the wall unit I used a french cleat . The hinges took a bit of working out as I had never done before. Easy once I worked it out.
