I'm currently building a couple of kitchen units for a friend plus a narrow wall unit. Here is some pics of the work done so far. I have most of the parts already cut and the holes with the dd40 done now is a case of assembling them together. Today I started putting the sides together. Taking a bit longer which I'm not to worried about gives us something to do

Some progress pics of the cabinet . Apart from being a little short on space at the moment as the kitchen units from the house are also sitting their taking up room. The other thing is to build up a collection of clamps. Once the units are cleared I plan to build a work bench and also build cupboards for tools and materials. Plus cladding the outside of the shed. Comes down to when I have the time and money to to do

Them units look like they will last a life time what are you going to Finnish them with Read more: mafell-users-forum.freeforums.net/thread/467/kitchen-cabinet?page=1#ixzz3YjrEWNMO Can't remember what I'm going to use to finish them. Spoke to the boy I get finishing from. Think it was some kind of polyurethane finish. Also being using the fixing I got a few weeks back. Working reasonably well. In each pair of holes I put one of the quick set dowels then in the other hole I fill with knapp pu+ glue and knock in the plastic dowels. The glue goes into a split in the dowel and also slightly expands and set rock hard. I also put a bead of glue along the edge of the board. So the boards are fixed all the way along the edge. Not just relying on the mechanical fixings. Feel solid and built to last.

Great work, we need others to post their projects on here to get more discussion going to the use of good tools.

I'm certainly guilty of not ever posting anything in build, but that's due to the nature of my work. I would be leaking behind the scenes stuff that would essentially end my career. I pull out the phone to line up a shot and the movie gods descend on me like flaming devil vultures. I hate it because I have so much I would love to show

Just curious are you or do they ever take snap shots of screens so it can be redone at a later date. They do at times seem a bit over protective at times
