Glad you're liking the saw. I did on mine. When doing a cross cut, have a piece that fell off. Causing the riving knife to get slightly bent and twisted. I just pushed it in the area I needed and it ended up ok. Never checked with squares and the likes. It did end up ok though and not catching in the saw draft as it was for a little while

Hey joe,
can't really make it out in your pictures, but is it just the riving knife that's bent? Is the saw blade perpendicular with the table surface? or is the saw blade also off?

The blade is square to the table , riving knife was out of square .Not a problem with 90 degree cuts . When the saw was tilted for a bevel cut , a slight binding was happening . Have spent 45 minutes to fix the knife , removing three screws and two bolts revealed the issue. A tiny shard of metal flake was embedded in all the grease used for assembly . All put back together and the riving knife is spot on .

With a Mafell router on the way for the Erika saw it was time to consider a router fence . With a little time with my existing routers and fences a small discovery.............. orks great .Very minimal cost in hardware for attachment . ot for big joinery bits ,small edge treatment bits should be fine . Very happy with the saw ,big grin with every push of the on switch.

Looks great, have to ask, who makes the fence and mounting hardware?
Glad you're enjoying your Erika.

Looks great, have to ask, who makes the fence and mounting hardware? Glad you're enjoying your Erika. John John "OF 1400 edge guide" made from a company with lime green adjustment knobs . Two T-bolts and two 6mm hex bolts available at the local hardware store . Removed the lime green knob , replaced with a five lobe star knob. The last of the Erika parts ship out tomorrow to complete my workflow vision for the saw ,will have a video or full photo album to share soon .

Thanks, appreciate the info. I own one of those routers, still undecided as to wether I like it enough to get the edge guide.
Looking forward to your pics!

Sorry for the late arrival, Joe, but that's one sweet looking saw.
How's the parallel fence that came with it working for you?
We added the Incra system to our TS and it made an immediate difference.

Fantastic saw , the current set up is for crosscutting and stop routing on door casing legs. Neither fence has to move for operation .
The outfeed tables work well , no simple attachment to the dovetail profile around table.

Wow, that's one sweet TS/Router combination you've got there, Joe!
I like the stationery fixtures that you've built for your work operations, as well.
Great work, Red
