Ok, i see you mean in general, not in particular.While i do share you're sentiment, i do not have a computer any more and i think it might be easier to get an i-pad than to get a computer.But then, when doing proper photography, i'd have use a computer anyhow. Do you happen to know if an i-pad can handle RAW/NEF -files?

For either, it's back to Photoshop on my desktop. For video, lately I'm doing everything with the iPad as I really like the editing, especially since I can edit and process wherever I am. While that article indicates you can't use a flash drive I have a Sandisc iXpand flash drive that I've been using to transfer files back and forth from my iPad and windows. However, if you looking for great answers I suggest you consult with a teenager, not a guy in his 60's. although their depth of experience made be with selfies.

Naw, that was the answer i was looking for: it converts RAW/ NEF to jpeg. and i can post. I'll be not using it as a backup but as amedium to post not to store. Thanx, 2manyToys!
