OK...so what videos do folks want to see of this saw when I get it? I will be shooting lots of video of it in action and hopefully will put some good content out there for other potential buyers. There is not a lot to be found. First video I thought about doing was just a quick one of the cut quality of the different blades. This thing ships with a coarse ripping blade, but I am getting the other ones to use as well. So, what else would you like to see and I will try and accommodate? Disclaimer - I will likely not have the saw until the end of this month if all goes as planned so any videos would follow and, they take awhile to film, edit, etc... so do not expect a flood of activity upon arrival.

I don't think I have even seen a video of this saw making a cut in anything. I'll be happy with just about anything at this point

That was my thinking too - so little information out there. So, we shall see how long it will take me to get some footage uploaded. Of course, I have to get the saw first too.

I have about 200 tgi's I have to square and cut to length. Wish I had a kss80 hypnotic voice on/ You should order one You deserve it. You have been working hard. The saw will save you hours of time, possibly even paying for itself ! ... and when I click my fingers you will be back in the room, feeling refreshed but with a strange hankering for a power tool. _______________ On a more serious note I think mine is great and look forward to it meeting some oak framing later this month and some Azobe for a deck later this year. If the funds allow, I do not think you would be disappointed. Cheers Matt

It would make quick work of it for sure...if I lived closer I would let you borrow mine.

I smashed through that job already. Been thinking on gang cutting sheet goods off the lift, just trying to figure out how to square a lift off. Thursday I cross cut 100 sheets of 4x8 1/2" MDF on a cabinet saw down to 4' 10 1/2". Then back through the saw to be ripped to final dimensioning at 2'7 1/2". I guess I moved about 9000lbs through the saw. In film we always use standard cabinet saws and any support beyond the table capacity is provided by 8' long horses we've made specifically for this purpose. Essentially we run the same equipment as someone's basement shop would run, just on a larger scale. What I would like to do is minimize as many processes as possible and minimize strain on the carpenter. Don''t get me wrong, I actually enjoy feeling sore at the end of the day, I like getting a workout from work, makes me feel like I've accomplished something. I just don't like waste, in this case wasted energy. If I could speed up processes and increase efficiency, maybe i could process 3 times the original amount and thereby be 3 times more valuable to the production.
On a smaller scale I did gang cut 2 3/4" sheets of D-grade at a time with my 300. This was pushing the saw but manageable in a pinch. I just want to cut more at once, thus my thoughts on the kss80

Yeah that will be a breeze for the kss80 or k85. Last week was using my ksp85 to do the exact same thing
