I have been thinking and thinking about P1CC a lot.
Woodworking is my hobby, but it is a serious hobby, I invest in quality. My woodworking skills are getting better and better and I made a full moved to wood and not more plywood.
I have the Mt55cc and I still seeing it useful for my woodworking. I have a Rikon bandsaw, Delta Unisaw, Jet jointer/planner combo, Drill press, etc.
My dilemma is that I am moving from Texas to the Northwest (Portland or seattle). I will sell my house (my garage is my workshop) and I don't know if I will have the same space for my workshop or not. At least at the beginning will be a challenge.
I am planning to sell the Bandsaw, Unisaw and Drill Press. I am thinking to replace the Drill press with something like this: www.wabeco-remscheid.de/bohrstaender-zubehoer/bohrstaender-fraesstaender/bohrstaender-fraesstaender-sets-9073.html
The Unisaw is another issue, it is too big. I am thinking the Erika, but the problem is the 120V is more expensive than 220. I wonder if the www.timberwolftools.com/tools/protool/converter.html can be used with the Erika.
I don't use the bandsaw much, but I know I will to make templates and they are made easy with the bandsaw. I can do those with any jigsaw.
Do you see the P1CC serving a purpose for furniture making or it is more for carpentry? I know is not the tool is the skills what is important, but I have so many questions in my head.
I am also trying to work more with japanese hand tools, but the templates are more mdf or hardboard and the japanese saw don't like those materials.
