Does anybody have a sortimo/bosch l-boxx that there mt55 fits in? I was hoping it would go in an l3 but an l4 would be ok too.
I just oust want to purchase before the saw gets here.

I am sure it would fit - ask Sven if his TS55R fits in a 3 or 4 - the MT55 is almost identical in size, I believe.

Good idea Scot. I asked them over on BTP. I REALLY hope it fits in an L3.
As soon as I get done harvest I am ordering up a bunch of stuff along with the MT55. The KSS400 will come in the spring.

Very cool. I spoke to David and he said that there would be a price increase coming in January more than likely.

Becoming a yearly thing?
I guess it promotes what to ask for Christmas.

Seems like last years price increases were sort of significant. I wonder why- is it a need for the bottom line or the marketing strategy?? Mafell & Festool seem to raise prices like clock work. I never see Bosch, DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita etc raise their prices year after year.
Costs more to manufacture in Germany than China for sure.

A lot of manufactures put up the prices in Europe, the price of raw materials and utility like electric go up. There is properly times the price could maybe stay still the problem then is when they really need to raise the prices it would be far to big of a jump in price

just an update, The MT55 fits in the L3 without the insert. There is lots of room on the sides but it is tight on the lid ( agood thing) If you want to carry extra gear (like the Angle fence etc) and use the insert, go for the L4 Here it is in the L3 with and without the insert. My L4 for it hasn't shown up yet. I am going to put the KSS400 in the L3 and have a separate case for the rails. Insert insert + L3 (too tall!)

Got this made up tonight. 25+ l-boxxes gets confusing quick. It's on a business card template that goes in a clear business card holder on the outside of the box. I'm still waitign for all the holders to get here.

Is that a roller guide? Are you using that with the mt55?

That is a roller guide (for the MF26) and it fits both saws. (the KSS400 as well) I haven't used it yet.

I suspect it may work better with the 400 but am interested in your thoughts on its use with the mt55
