I dont know why theyre freehanding it instead of just letting the saw rest on top of the beam. Maybe its too heavy to flip 90?Anyway cool video, check it out

Yep. That's a crazy way to go about a 90 degree cut. We only use two people to cut compound angles. For 90 degree cuts like they are doing I usually extend the parallel guide as far as it will go to increase the bearing surface of the saw. Cool video though.

Looks like they borrowed the saw from a buddy and it's their first rodeo. Both need to look busy so the boss doesn't get mad??
I never would have thought of the option for compound cuts using two guys. Likely a rare need but would be another cool use of the saw. Such a cool tool.

it looks to me like they are both trying to follow a line on either side of the work. maybe they didn't think it would cut square. it does look dangerous.
