Is it me or did I hear that this cut was more strained or difficult than it should've been?

To me the saw should fly through that like butter. How old is the blade? What speed setting do you have the saw at?

Yeah that does sound blunt I don't think that blade would spread butter

Can't say for sure but it looks like he's only cutting the top board. In any case the MT55cc should have no problem at all with that cut. There's no way it cuts that slow and sounds like that. Either he's using it at a low speed like 1 or 2, the blade is blunt or the blade is in backwards.

I picked this video up on youtube, I have no idea who it is or what speed setting it's on. About the middle of the video you can see how far down the blade is, I would say it's no more than 3/4", the thickness of 1 sheet of ply. But man really look like he struggled.

I have cut 8/4 cherry with the MT55 with a proper sharp blade and went about 3 times that fast and the motor sounded normal. Must be a commercial for another brand of track saw

Yeah...something is certainly off with that video. I do not have an MT55 yet to compare to anything, but does not sound normal to me.

Trust me it's not. It claws through stuff like a lion and leaves an edge that's samurai crisp.
