What kind of finish are you going to apply or are you just going natural?

What kind of finish are you going to apply or are you just going natural? Probably a thin coat of linseed oil to help prevent moisture exchange and make it easier to clean. Definitely will not use a film finish.

Garch- Have you built a legit workbench before? All the hardware and the build in general looks tricky but you seem to flow right through it.

Garch- Have you built a legit workbench before? All the hardware and the build in general looks tricky but you seem to flow right through it. First time building one this nice and massive. So some of the details are new to me, like the tail vise and through tenon legs. Having a lifetime of experience, and being lucky enough to have the right tools makes everything go a little smoother. I can see this would be a difficult task for a novice.

Those leg connections are so cool. really artistic as well as bullet proof. Super impressive work. Your really lucky to have acquired such nice tools. I like the hand tools as much as the Mafells.

Still looking good I see you're still doing a bit of hand work. Is that a gremacy hold fast. I've bei thinking of getting that kind of hold fast when I make a bench as it looks so simple and effective
