Very cool. It would be great to source other heads for this machine. Last ve the replaceable inserts too.

When I was trying the mf26cc and asked about it being in 110 I was told they are not available straight off the shelf. They get specially made as when needed. Leitz do groove cutters for a 20mm bore. The only thing extra needed would be some spacers as the way the cutters are fixed to the machine. They also do custom tooling if needed so I'm sure they can sort out cutters if needed here is a link www.leitztooling.com/rabbeting-groovingblades.htm

Fascinating tool. One that I'll never own, but one that I could definitely find uses for - mainly bending mdf, and cutting channels, rebates etc. in sheet material and timber. To put the price in perspective - Festool do a similar tool, aimed at composite panel (alucobond etc) work - costs well over $4000 down here. The Mafell is much more versatile, and would cost me half as much.
We also do the mitred plasterboard in Aus, usually for bulkheads on commercial jobs. Known as 'split-fold', down here.

Uhg, I’m so jealous. ( My worktops often end up being scraps of OSB too so I keep a stick of round pvc corner bead with me for any time I have a hose hooked up. Helps with cords too. *photo ) http://instagram.com/p/BYN4CVUAdes

I'm sure it could have limited use for some guys, but when you see the price of the cutters for the MF26, you want more than limited use from them!
