As I don't have the p1cc manual and cannot download the pdf in the other thread, does anyone know what the two threaded holes are along the centre line of the fixed base?
Can these be used to mount the jigsaw inverted into a custom table? Or can you attach false bases like on a router but here to protect the standard one if you are cutting abrasive or other materials?

Both great ideas. Sounds plausible. Not at home to look at what came with my saw, but glanced at the doc GhostFist posted a link for, and don't see any reference. User Manual

I downloaded it on the pc and there's not much info there on the manual. I wish someone like Chris on the fog would write some decent manuals for the mafell tools.

My guess is that they would be good for mounting in a table or something, at least that was my first thought when I saw them.

Also like I mentioned you could attach custom bases maybe one that will work with a festool track - this is worth exploring as I only have festool tracks.

What is the circle point?
I have actually used one of the holes for mounting the p1cc into an adapted neutechnik jigsaw table. The p1cc's base plate is acouple of mm too wide to fit into the neutechnik jigsaw table so I widened the slot in the table to allow the p1cc base plate to fit. In order to secure it I use one of the threaded holes to screw the jigsaw to the table. Along with the provided clamps it is a solid fix. I am working on a way to fit the angle base as it is a lot wider.

Have a look at this movie for the use of these holes:

Sorry, still don't see the threaded holes being used - did I miss something in the video?

Ya I believe the original question was regarding the two central holes that are threaded not those off to the side of the blade for a short radius

The two threaded holes on the baseplate were used to mount the P1cc to the tables on my Erika saw

The two threaded holes on the baseplate were used to mount the P1cc to the tables on my Erika saw That looks good. Can you post more pics please. I have used them also to attach the jigsaw to the Neutechnik Jigsaw Table as the p1cc does not fit it, so I had to customize the table to allow the wider base of the p1cc's plate fit. I still cant use the wider angle base with the table though. Will try and mod it further at some point to allow this some how but will definitely lose cutting depth capacity.
