Just being using the Erika to rip some full size sheets of ply and osb into 350mm rips. At the moment I have only got the 1m table rail extension rails. I have to say it worked really well. I felt I was able to cut the sheet safely on my own, which in the past using saws like the Dewalt flip saw I didn't or other site type saws. It was almost as good as using a sliding table saw. There is little things that could be done to improve it as I don't have the full set up. One would be the table extension to stop the sheet just slightly dipping before it gets to the second table extension rail especially on thinner sheet materials. Also the clamping piece to clamp the fen e to the table would be handy. I did just use quick grip clamp which works for the time being. I have got one ordered just haven't being to pick up yet. Then if I was going to be ripping a lot of sheets in the future I would look at getting the ripping guide, but can manage without it at the moment. I did do a vid or thought I had so it hasn't turned out I will need to cut some more next weekend so will make the effort to do again

That's why I dislike cutting larger sheets of plywood on portable table saws, way too much moving around. Thank goodness for track saws! Great to see another video of the Erika though .

Interesting video! Thanks! For large cuts like this I always use my self-made table extension. It can be mounted at any place around the Erika and sometimes it makes life much easier. Regards Rob

Yeah I don't often cut large sheets like that. I like your out feed table. I guess the brackets are from the sliding table? Normally I just use the tracks as extremely easy, but as I had a lot of repative rips I thought I would give the Erika a shot as was interested to see if it could be done on my own
