Seems for now that every LED lighting manufacturer in Germany has jumped on board, not a lot more!... but you can now get a Fein multimaster that runs on Bosch batteries.
Rothenberger has joined too, they're not leaving the CAS (for now!), but will make tools that work on either system. I imagine in the long run they will ditch the worse selling platform, time will tell.
Will be interesting to see how this develops over the coming years and if any one else jumps ship from CAS to Ampshare; or if any one else creates a new multi-brand battery platform.

I guess a lot of those are owned by Bosch. When Bosch wants to flex they can flex.

I will get a Fein multicutter delivered any day now, on the Bosch battery platform. It would be a lot easier if more brands joined up and offered a joint platform or two.
As mentioned by Aas, there are a few brands that already seem to offer the same machine on both platforms and I could see a point in offering a tool on more than one platform.

I had been planning on getting one too, try to slim down the number of battery platforms I have. I decided to sell my Fein multi-tool, 2x grinders and 1x drill with 4 batteries and 2 chargers - no interest at all. I guess this is a sign of the troubled economy here in France...

Have been using the Fein AMM700 Max (Bosch18V) for some time. Very pleased with it. I have tried some of the new carbide blades from Bosch and they sure last a long time! It has a little bit more vibration than I had hoped but in actual cutting use it is not bad at all. It has 2x2 degree oscillation (side to side).
I did also happen to get a Bosch 18V multicutter as part of a kit on sale, it was literally for free with the kit. It is ”good” but feels a bit like a brick in comparison with the Fein. It has 2x1.4 degree oscillation and the difference in cutting capacity (when/if needed) is obvious.
For me, coming from having the old Supercut 2.0, corded, the AMM700 is a replacement to the corded Supercut. The Multimasters have been ”ok” but I like the more aggressive / top end multicutters. I also have long term experience with the Hikoki and I put them at the same level as most of the others, the only problem with the Hikoki was the somewhat tedious blade change.

Good to hear, I'd still like to switch out my Fein gear for Bosch now they're ditching their old batts, but no takers...

I guess it's only 18V that bosch will ampshare? I fear a little that they'll change their 12v batteries from stick in to slide on like metabo did. I got their 12v flexiclick drill, the little router and grinder. Would hate to see them cut off battery support for those.

Ampshare is just 18v, although I imagine Bosch is following the uptake of Metabos CAS 12v uptake - limited at the moment, just Mafell who have released a CAS12 drill.

Yeah, slide on batteries are definitely the way to go but I'd still hate to see it happen with bosch 12v just because I own a couple of their tools lol.
