Maybe they will disappoint us and sell another rebadged Metabo drill! :-)

Not out until the 5th Sept. Trade got cancelled this year so no chance to see one in the flesh.

I only found out about this today at the end of a call to the N.A. Lamello distributor. I was just asking about tenso/clamex clamping strength for an upcoming project and they casually mentioned they had a few of the new brushless in stock. I'm sure battery adapters will surface soon for other platforms. I asked about the cordless tool balance and learned there's a bracket/clip that attaches to keep it level to surface if you wish.

I'm not sure it's a tool that benefits from cordless. Any joining tool (DDF40, Domino, Lamello) starts getting messy and filling up with dust pretty quickly with out dust extraction which is so much easier on mains with autostart.

That’s something to consider. While the tool does come with a dust bag I was told it’s really only for a few slots max. They recommend it always be connected to extraction for cutting performance and accuracy. Though I think cordless adds versatility for the on site and casual user besides not having to deal with more cords. And there are so many small table top cordless vac options out there now. For myself I’ve been wondering about its value, using clamex conns, for large collapsable jigs.

there are so many small table top cordless vac options out there now Shame hardly any that are mains or cordless... I have a Makita that does this from about 2017 - very good on mains, below average on batteries.
