First tweak, modification of a chip collector in order to use it with oversized bits : Very easy to achieve with any slot bit like this CMT 923.340.11A bit and with a smart use of the threaded plunge rod in order to get a smooth dive in the ABS plastic. Maximal diameter bit is now 47.6mm wrt to 36mm for the original design.

Some other little things that I made for my LO-65Ec : Two 3D-print chip-catchers as Festool ones for the OF routers. This is a 3 part design and black polycarbonate print, very efficient to avoid chip storm all around the workshop. The smaller one is 40mm high and the taller one is 60mm high. One oversize guide ring (60mm OD, 55mm ID, 20mm high) and one adaptator to use UJK-like threaded rings and Leigh elliptic rings. Obviously this is high tolerance CNC parts and machining is much more time-consumming that one can imagine ... Feel free to ask for generic STL files for 3D-printing or toleranced drawings for CNC parts !

Made in 2020-2021 but out for the first time in 2022, some pics of my MFS Festool-like router template. It is mainly made of : + 80/20mm aluminium extrusion profile ( link) ; + T-Matic connectors for 5mm I-Type slot ( link) ; + some spring-loaded bolt for 5mm I-Type slot ( link) ; + and a lot of high quality/high density 3D print using red ABS filament from Ultimaker. The base of the template is constitued of 5 pairs of rails, ranging from 20cm to 100cm by 20cm increment. One end of each rail is protected by an ABS dedicated insert, and the other end receive the T-Matic connector and two small glued 5mm stud. The upper face of each rail have been machined for flush gluing of steel rulers from Vogel.

One of the major drawback with 80/20mm aluminium profile is the absence of clamps for fixing the template to a specific position : the 5mm slot is very small and the ones that I have tested didn't match it ... So I have designed some lateral square that can be screwed or clamped in place using a classical FSZ Festool clamp for example. Very simple and it does the job !
