I had the Metabo rep in today, mainly for the LF724S which is designed as a paint stripper - I wanted to test it on solid surface joins. I think it will work out well, powerful enough, just needs well setting up.
Had a look and try of some new toys, sorry tools... the new 18v sander is nice, good balance little vibration. I tried on solid surface as I already had some out for the previous test - obviously it's not an ideal material for a battery sander, but it did OK. I prefer it to my Makita 18v, worth a punt if you're looking for one.
He had the 'KSS' style rail for the KS57, but agreed the '57 is a bit 'light' and he prefers the '66.
Some good feedback on cordless : vac, compressor, mixer, heat gun - didn't have time to try everything
Also saw the new style Metabo tool boxes - it was all in a nicely racked out VW Crafter.
