Hey gang!
Not sure if you noticed the new Flexus connector for Lamello.
I have had the opportunity to use it on a recent project, retrofitting shelves in wardrobes. It is basically a Clamex with folding/tapered protrusion tabs allowing you to slide it in place. Once in place they will spring out and you lock it as you would the Clamex.
Good thing is you can use two Flexus on one side and two Clamex on the other side and then fit the Clamex side at an angle and then swing the Flexus side up and in place. Doing this you come a long way with the 80 pair pack.
The Flexus is P14 size and it comes with P10 hollowed out connectors for the cabinet side/shared wall part.
You can use P14 or P10 sized regular Clamex connectors as well so the Flexus is compatible with all three mating parts: hollowed out Flexus P10, regular Clamex P10 and the Clamex P14
Only thing to remember is P10 on the carcass/cabinet and P14 setting on the shelves. Or, if you use the P14 Clamex connectors, P14 depth setting on both.

I'd not seen this. Can it move around once locked in?.. I found the Clamex can 'slide' slightly if under pressure, so for critical positioning I add a pair of dowels with the DD40P...
Have you used the Divario?.. makes pretty neat shelves.
Thanks for the heads up.

Once locked in it is about the same as the Clamex though it would not be any better.
For retrofitting shelves with a backstop it works very well though and saves time. It is more of a solution for those times you don't want to (or can) dismount a bookshelf in order to fit in a few extra shelves.
In my case I had four wardrobes that needed one more fixed shelf so I took the Lamello and a fixture/jig for distance and markings and made the new P10 cuts on site and then used the same jig to translate the markings for the placement to the shelves. In my case I opted for 80mm in from the front and back for Lamello base clearance some room for the vac hose. Worked perfectly.
Since the material is pine it is pretty high friction and I don't think they will slip anywhere. They will not be under that much load either as they are added top shelves with not that much headroom.
