After much research as it applies to Dowels I came across Laurier Wood Craft. I've been using there Dowels for over a year now and must say they are of the highest quality. The owner is Trevor Halford who is amazingly knowledgeable regarding joinery and dowels. I'm grateful for his willingness to teach on the subject. The Advantage of Laurier Dowels is in how the product is made. The dowels are accurately compressed causing them to Expand ever so slightly when glued creating a superior bond. This is similar to how Compressed Biscuits function. Review on Laurier Dowels: Part 1
Part 2
Part 3The only negative is the limited options in Metric Sizes. Although he is willing to produce batches of odd sizes with enough request. That means all DD40 owners need to send an email prompting for Metric Sizes! His Contact information is as Follows: WebsiteTrevor Halford Laurier Wood Craft 161 Fishers Road P.O. Box 428 South River, ON P0A 1X0 Manufacturer of JUSTJOINERY ® brand Compressed Loose Tenons & Expansible Dowel Pin ® “The Pin With a Memory” Phone 705 386 1274

I want to do my tiny house. I have already some plan of my project. I think i will make it from wood. Special for it I bought new forstner bits. Not so many knows that Forstner bits are a little bit different than most drill bits. They have a centering bit which lets you get right on your mark and drill exactly you want to drill. More info i looked up on review drilling-it.com/forstner-bits-faq/
