The Jigsaw's height adjustment is locked. The knob to adjust it just not turning.
Has any of you had this same problem before? Any ideas or suggestion would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

What knob are you trying to turn?.. I'm not sure I get what you mean by height adjustment.

Unlock the lever, give the saw a light thump on the side with your fist - I've had this happen once, I tend to remove blades once finished now.

I went to remove a blade last week and it would not come out.... Any ideas? I had this happened several times, particularly with Cunex blade. No specific advise, just shaking and wiggling. You can unscrew nut at the end of the shaft and clean clamping mechanism.

Twisting the blade lightly helps it come loose from the locking mechanism. Not trying to twist it out of 90 degree position but trying to rotate it along the axis of the blade. Always unplug the tool just in case before putting your hand on the blade ofcourse! If you have the clear plexiglass tearout guard installed and very tightly around a blade might want to remove that to get some "wiggle" room. I have accepted this as one of the few "quirks" of the saw (similar torx bits getting stuck in an impact driver, sometimes you just need to tap it on something and it becomes loose)
But yes, as to the original post: I've had a p1cc for more than a year now, no idea what the "height adjustment" is you're talking about. Maybe add a picture ?

Mhm. Usually I pull the lever and pull out the blade by gently tapping it to the side. I’ve never expected it to shoot out or even just fall out.
I’d like to know how hard it got stuck with you guys. But if it comes out by hitting the body, probably about what I expect.
Of course all with the splinter guard removed.
