Sorry to hear that. Had a quick look at the parts list - not a lot can be wrong; the trigger/cable assembly for about 30 euro, or the motor at 240 euro - unles I've missed something.

Sorry to hear that. What will you get to replace it? John I'll just have to cart my Kapex around all the time, I guess. As much as I'd like another KSS40, I've sunk way too much money into this one - replacement PCB wasn't cheap, plus a trip to Germany and back, and a trip to the UK and back (from Australia)

As a last resort, I pulled it apart and found a loose wire! Soldered it back and I'm back in business! The fact that it was 'beeping' definitely threw me, a loose wire didn't even occur to me.

As a last resort, I pulled it apart and found a loose wire! Soldered it back and I'm back in business! The fact that it was 'beeping' definitely threw me, a loose wire didn't even occur to me. Good stuff!.. where was the loose wire?

Good stuff!.. where was the loose wire? I'll take a pic, aas. It was a red wire, directly under the black motor cover. As soon as I took the cover off, it was right there in front of me.

The beep-beep problem is so annoying, I can go a year with nothing, then get it three times in a day!
