Hi Gang!
I had the opportunity to visit a local business again, and wanted to raise awareness around their neat offerings. Betterly Tools is based in Minnesota, and just moved to a new location a little closer to Minneapolis (~20 minute drive from downtown). Betterly sells general purpose tools from brands like Festool, Makita, Dewalt, etc..., but their core business seems to be serving the specialty counter top fabrication trades, specifically solid-surface and laminate.
To that end, Betterly produces a neat line of custom router bases paired with industry-standard router motors (mostly Porter Cable, but some Bosch).

Solid Surface routers: betterleytools.com/categories/solid-surface-tools.html
The tools that appeal the most to me include:
Corner routing unit: This is a 3hp router fitted with a custom articulating base that quickly produces a radius corner on counters and tables. betterleytools.com/products/corner-rounding-unit.html
Flush trimmer: This is a 1-3/4hp router set up to flush trim solid wood edge banding, 1-1/2" wide in a single pass. betterleytools.com/products/flush-trimmer.html
PVC trim router: This is a trimmer that mimics the functionality of the Festool MFK 700 trimmer. This trims and rounds the edge of the edge banding in a single pass. The appeal to me of this setup is that the bearing is integrated into the base, instead of on the bit. I like my MFK 700, but sometimes the bearing can start to load with adhesive... betterleytools.com/products/pvc-trim-router.html
Anyways, there are several other products, but the above options most readily apply to my day-to-day as a contractor, carpenter and aspiring woodworker. Betterly has several CNC milling machines in their warehouse, so it's really neat to see the finished products in their show room, then get a toor of their factory and see the various products in different states of production. Betterly sells 120V and 240V router motors, and will produce custom, one-off products.
Anyways, just wanted to raise awareness about a local small business.
