Just been notified that Prebena has added its German-Made cordless nailer range & air compressors to the ever growing list of Cordless Alliance cross-compatibility.
Trouble is, that in the light of my own domestic currency's (South Pacific Peso) paltry exchange valuation, they're all waaay too bloody expensive for me!
I'd love a Rokamat cordless concrete poker/vibrator, or maybe one of their Cordless backpack-vacs to go along with another KSS Mafell for rimming rafter ends in situ, or maybe even a Collomix stirrer for plastering & renders. My current rather meagre range of a couple of cordless Mafells, a Rothenberger press & a clutch of Metabo tools, batts. & chargers is actually pretty impressively capable, if a tad light-on in scope. A new cordless Riveter or maybe a cordless planer would be nice, but ludicrously & unjustifiably extravagant given my current penurious circumstance.
Not to mention Metabo's new recipro/sabre-saw. At last, another Cordless Alliance compatible saw that actually offers a proper, full 32mm stroke, just like all their competitors have been offering for years now. In fact, the tired old discontinued Metabo design actually dates back some 20 years or more!
Now they probably need to update their entire SCMS lineup too, in the light of the contemporary offerings from the strong contenders in the segment: Hikoki, Makita, Bobbie Bosch et. al. I honestly wouldn't be surprised that maybe even Milwaukee, makers of some of the dodgiest tools ever manufactured, may at last be making some EC motored cordless tools that might outlast the actual warranty period!

Don't know anything about them, happy with my Hitachi cordless nailers for now. I guess it is they making the cordless compressor for Metabo, look exactly the same. Always good when another manufacturer joins up...

At some point you will... a lot of the signatories to the CAS do not yet have available tools, this will change given time!
