I've mostly had body grip jiggies over the years., from Elu to Bosch to Metabo to Festool. Finally decided to buy a D-handle one (Bosch 135). Much superior in my opinion. Easier to control than bodygrips, despite only needing a single-handed grip. I can see the merits of bodygrip styles when cutting from beneath, but I never do this. It just feels weird to me. Personally I'm a fan of D-handled styles.

Let’s just keep posting here every day to get Google to tell Mafell that a cordless P1CC would murder every other cordless jigsaw on the market. If those clunky Metabo batteries are getting in the way, just use a different brand. We don’t mind.

TBF Mafell the brand and manufacturer is tiny compared to rebranded Chinese "tools"- businesses, if they doubt that there's absolute necessity for (or there are reasonable alternatives), we might end up waiting, for what's not going to happen 🤔

There is that Makita Battery backpack (and others); add an inverter to that and stick the cord around your back with a quick connect, and you've almost got a Cordless P1CC.
