UNfortunately, a lot of these options are not available, at least that I'm aware of, in North America. That newest Starmix would definitely have my money, could i snag one. I am however happy with how my ct vacs have worked thus far

I think Festool should bring out a mini-sysport that attaches to their vaccuums. I think it'd be quite a hit. Then you don't need to unstack everything every time you need a systainer that's on the bottom. Maybe I should make one soon...

Ya I think we're better off making them ourselves. A lot cheaper and exactly what you need. I was actually thinking of modifying the design of timtool's mftc, so that the ct would be the wheeled base. Nothing more than a thought right now.

Jonathan, You are quite the resource for Vacs. I guess we all have a weakness.

Jonathan, You are quite the resource for Vacs. I guess we all have a weakness. Guilty as charged, I do seem to have a bit of a slight borderline obsession with dust extraction. I feel it's one of those things that can always be improved upon and I always seem to free up some of my precious time to constantly fiddle with it and figure out ways of improving it...

Do you know much about larger Shop dust collection? I'm looking at Clean Air systems that are popular in Europe. Really hard to find information and owners in the USA.

I bought the New metabo asr 25l which I must say is an excellent excellent t vac the only thing it could do with is some form of flow regulator when sanding but apart from that I couldn't be happier with it! Out performs my old nilfisk by miles

Put my post on the wrong thread, under Mafell New vac, idiot! I see this is the one I should of put it on. Just to recap, I need a new vac, I'm considering the usual suspects, Festool, Protool, Metabo, Bosch, Mafell, Fein etc... Need about 25ltrs, pop a box on top would be nice and also suction control. The extraction on my Fein multimaster is so good, it's turned into a limpet! My extracter at the moment does not have variable suction control. As usual any advice, ideas, recommendations would be very much appreciated. It's either that or leave it on the floor and buy a new broom, would be cheaper!

Has anyone successfully had one of these tapered hoses shipped to NA? Tom, was timberwolf able to help you? Mike, with the Festool absorption of Protool the lines seem to be a bit blurred regarding what Timberwolf can and can't order. However, I do have a source (found him on e-bay) in Germany who may be a good resource for getting some of these NAINA accessories. I'll send you his contact info via a PM tomorrow.
