Anyone seen this one? Just noticed it on Mafell homepage: the Mafell HIT M.

I think there was a thread here about it a while back... I'd really like one!

Ok, cool. I have the little Felder which is a very good machine and so similar to this I think the Mafell is kind of based on it. The system looks well thought out. I need to read up on the differences as it seems they offer three machines. A competitor for Conturo KA65 for sure. The Felder Forka is about a third of the price of the Conturo over here so I am thinking the Mafell will be out of my league too...

I think the Mafell is based on the Kluge, not the same tech as the Felder and Virutex style machines - that all seem to have come out of the same mold! I have a German Felder/Virutex clone - it does the job, cost peanuts, and I won't care too much when it breaks. The Mafell/Kluge are a hot air tech to give 'laser' style invisible joints... nice!

You are right, I checked out Kluge (never heard of them before) and the HIT technology as well as the stand is just like the Mafell offering. Seems like a very good machine. I am very pleased with the Forka and not really in the market myself. Good to see what's out there though!
