Nice work! Your English is fine, much better than my friend Yaro from the Ukraine. His wife is from Poland. Extremely nice people.
I look forward to discussions about Mafell tools and would enjoy seeing more of your work. Especially stair design and fabrication.

Hello guys I've use mafell DD40 since few years and use it to make mostly wardrobes, cupboards etc. from laminated chipboard or MDF, for that kind of material I use 8mm bits. It is expensive to buy it,so get an idea to buy good quality cobalt drill bits from wwww.axminster.co.uk each cost me £7.74 then I've cut shank at the lenght and to desired overall lenght, afetr that I've resharpen it on my bench grinder, it takes a while but is worth and I can reshapen bit at any time in this same way. for bigger/smaller sizes I'll do as you wrote above. I'm new on this site and sorry for my English as it is not my first language. I like Mafell for their clever solution eg. Erika, DD40, P1cc and so on. I'll be glad to speak with similar minded people. Hi sylwester welcome to the forum. Can you please give more details on the drills from axminster that you are adapting to use with the dd40? A link would be helpful. Also can you give details on how you are adapting cutting these drills? taz

There was discussion on the previous page about the 306 series being used - is this no longer the case? Won't have my DD for a few weeks, but wanted to grab some spare bits while they're on sale.

Not too sure I have the catalogue in front of us from cmt and the 312 series are the ones that is named for the mafell as the steel is specially made for high speed. Not sure what the difference is with the other ones. You also have to remember the doweler is spinning around 18000rpm. Certainly check with the supplier it's all very well saving money as long as they can cope with the high speed

If you look at my post on the previous page you'll see the CMT 306.030.21 RH I purchased a while back. Using them with my DD40P and the work just great! No issues.
