Thanks Men, Yes you were right it's just being delivered to a dispatcher. I order the sliding table also as it has to be the most useful accessory.

Had another great conversation with Jeff at Timberwolf Tools on Friday. Amongst other topics, he gave me a few interesting tidbits on the updated ERIKA 70/85:
-- Mafell tweaked the motor brake on the ERIKA 70, apparently to comply with evolving Euro safety regs, and due to the change the ERIKA 70 will no longer be available in 120V. This is a big deal for me since I regularly use my ERIKA on-site, guess I better take extra good care of it now, fingers crossed it never gets stolen...
-- The ERIKA table extensions will no longer be machined for the router functionality, and the router table fence and other accessories will no longer be available. Again, apparently in response to safety regs.
I'm rather bummed about the ERIKA 70 no longer being available in 120V. Hopefully if/when I eventually need a replacement saw Mafell will have released a dual- or tri-18V ERIKA so the voltage issues will be mute....

The news doesn’t really surprise me. While it is a very good saw, it is a very expensive saw. I have to believe that it is not cost effective for Mafell to manufacture and warehouse tools just for the US (the US isn’t the only 120V/60Hz country in the world, but we are the largest). Also, the US seems not to be a popular destination for most of the Mafell line, especially Erika, continued production of a tool in that voltage doesn’t seem sensible. i, too am going to take great care of my Erika.
