They keep having 20% off sales but I personally would wait for a 25% off one.
After getting the 4.0 and 8.0 (and a fresh blade), so far everything’s good and no stalling. Time will tell if it’s the blade or the saw causing the stalling beeps but it bogged down pretty good today w the 4.0 and didn’t beep so fingers crossed

I've been able to stock up on a fair few 8.0s from whom I suspect is a 'grey' importer who buys in kits & splits them up. Great for my high-current tools like the floodlight, 5" & 9" grinders, little KGS SCMS & Mafell tracksaws. But that's about it. Pretty useless (for me anyway) in smaller hand-held drills, rattler, tapper & riveter. Just makes the smaller tools too big, heavy & unwieldy for my old bones.
I absolutely adore the 4.0s. Great capacity, and excellent tool balance and ergos. But here in OZ they're just so bloody expensive. AU $169 (US $110) ea! I've been getting the 8.0s for about $150 (US $97.50) as a comparison.
I've been buying up some cheaper drill kits myself: SB 18 LT BLs, each containing a couple of 4.0 AH LiHDs - @ about AU $250 (US $160 odd) per kit - & selling off the case, drill & surplus chargers for $100 (US $ 65). Net result? Less than half price for those delightful little cells!
Both extremes of battery size have a useful place, at least in my own personal arsenal.
