Anyone come across this?
www.albinkraus.at/en/1895011/Solid-Surface-Manual-working
...about halfway down the page. It is an LO65 with a custom made base that looks to have very good dust collection, specially made for solid surface work. Very tempted, but not sure if I can put the original base back on if I want to mount it in the Erika router table for example.

I see they also make an under mount version AK-UF. I guess it comes down to how the guide columns attach to the custom machined base. Are they pinned or do they unbolt.
Regardless, if their core business is custom fabrication it seems like a reasonable request to make it work for both.

I'll get in touch with them when I get a moment.

I guess it comes down to how the guide columns attach to the custom machined base. Are they pinned or do they unbolt. Neither, the base has the stanchons already fitted, and it is supplied with the original Mafell base, switching between them is 60 second job - just need to make sure the springs don't fly off or that the bronze bushings don't fall out...

Just picked up a LO65 Maximax today, try and have a look at it tomorrow. Ordered the Albin Kraus base too - along with some of their solid surface cutters, should have that next week.
