Yes! I was poking around the Timberwolf site the other day and noticed this. I have several outdoor projects coming up this Spring where I can see the KSS-40 18M BL would come in very handy. Time to start saving up again! The cordless drill is intriguing as well. www.timberwolftools.com/special-tools/cordless-saws-and-drills

Here's the brass tax: the batteries won't be in for a while. Pure (bare) tools are already in stock.
My credit card just felt the blow and I'm doing a really good job (somehow) of reminding myself that I really don't need that awesome drill.

Double that fabulous. Double super fabulous.
And the prices are preeetty darn close to Tobias! Depending on shipping costs you might come out ahead ordering from T-Wolf. Once they can supply a 120v charger it's a no brainer for North Americans.
Respect and thanks to Timberwolf here, I suspect they worked hard to make this happen.

I've purchased from Tobias, before (it wasn't Mafell related), and it was a splendid experience. I come out ahead because my state could really use the hundred or so in taxes Timberwolf collected. :0
I can't speak for others' experiences, but I've only gotten the 5 star treatment from Timberwolf orders. Everything is packed so perfectly and neatly, with an envelope full of brochures and a heavy card stock warranty sheet. Fancy dancy. They also won't hesitate to reach out to you by phone if they suspect a better option for their customer.
I threw Toolnut a bone when they were carrying the brand. Half to support them carrying it. Half because I use their website and not Festool's for product info before I walk into a store. I get all guilty about those things. Anyway, Toolnut are pretty hit and miss with packing stuff at their shipping department. A consequence of sales volume. Timberwolf stuff is so nice, I should take pictures, frame them and hang them on the wall.

I have noticed that TW Tools lowered prices on a couple of things - the KSS300 used to be more expensive and now it looks like it is a $100 or more cheaper than before. Other stuff is way more. Hit and miss, I guess. Love my Mafell stuff, though!

The KSS40 is our most used saw on the jobsite. Great piece of engineering.

About $155 cheaper from overseas to your door (with a not so great conversion rate). So things have narrowed.
What the heck are 'Clamping Claws'?

I think they're the clips to hold the Flexi-rail in place...
