Had a family member who wanted straight cuts with a wet saw but they didn't have a functional wet tile table/sliding saw... About less than $20 of materials and some quick CAD later... I'll know how well it works when they report back to me with the saw later today.

Video of it in action with said family member trying it out... Approval on the straightness of the cut. I don't know if they realize this, but it does technically have unlimited cut width on the left and right since it is a "track saw." Technically unlimited length if there's some stupidly long extrusion out there. This one is limited to something less than 36 inches for now. Oh and a little loss of cut depth too, at around 1/4".
Things that it probably needs improvements on: Offset dodad/kerf indicators that stick on the rail for alignment - Should be straightforward, just things that hang on the L extrusion and are adjustable. Two parts would show the blade kerf
Splash guard - Probably going to redesign the sole plate for this one alone since it'll be a nice improvement
Less chipout on cuts - I'm not even sure if a zero clearance insert of some kind would work for tile... Other than that I'll probably have to do some research and suggest a blade afterwards...
