fwiw - Using plastic extension wands since I lost my last metal tube set but have been on the lookout for another set because I just like keeping the anti static continuity and abs wands don't cut it. Came across an old, made in usa, metal vac extension wand - impressed how smoothly the sections click together & pull apart compared to the newer stuff. Problem was how to adapt the old metal wand to the nilfisk a.s. hose. That nilfisk 32mm QuickSystem connector showed unintended versatility again. Besides being a great dust port connector for some of mafell’s saws it also allows 32mm O.D. (1.25”+) metal tubing to slip snuggly inside for quickly connecting a wand without the need for any adapters.

I should add that the wand does not click into the Quick Sys connector, only slides in very snug.
But now that I think about it I should be able to mod the metal tube to make it mate with the Quick Sys clips.

Alright, that was easy. Thought I would just order another connector, cut off section I needed, and glue it on. Instead I measured everything in site and found that disposal discharge pipe is same outside diameter. Even better it heats up nicely (to get over metal ribs which also lock it in place, and it shrinks back to size by running cold water over it (helped to compress with hand a bit but wow that was hot). The new plastic ferrule doesn't slide or rotate because there were two bumps on the metal tube I took advantage of and dremel'ed out notches for them on the inside the plastic ferrule before slipping over.

I currently use a Nilfisk hoover and am very happy with it. Recently, the hose of my hoover broke and I was able to buy a new hose through a website called FixPart. Perhaps you guys can do something with this too! I will include a link so you can visit the website more easily:) fixpart.ch/de/appliances/nilfisk/staubsauger/schlauch

I've used Fixpart in the past for parts, but a lot of reviews for the company are bad. Everything is in stock until you pay, then the delays can be excessive. I ordered a fridge control panel that was in stock, it wasn't, it took 45 days to arrive. I'd be hesitant to use them again, but glad you got your vac parts.

Great to read that you all have had such a positive experience with Nilfisk! I'm also a proud owner of a Nilfisk, and I can only attest that their products truly are top-notch. Durability and powerful performance are really their trademark. As someone who has been using a Nilfisk for a while, I can say it's an investment that absolutely proves its worth. Recently, my Nilfisk vacuum cleaner stopped working. I discovered that my filter needed to be replaced. I found this website that sells spare parts for appliances like mine. I figured you guys might also find this useful. The website is called FixPart. I will put a link below my reply. Keep enjoying your Nilfisk appliances, guys! fixpart.ch/fr/appliances/nilfisk/aspirateur-pieces-detachees-et-accessoires
