Sounds like a gantry router. Looking for a CNC lathe person, or a decent machinist if someone has any leads.

So I got my head into the Lamello Divario today - mixing it up with the Zeta P2 and DD40 with guide rail. They really work so well together.
The shelf : The guide rail for the DD40 can be adjusted at the start end, so I centred up on where I wanted to put the Divario, tightened the rail reference block, and clamped the rail into place. Some blue masking tape on the DD40 rail so I don't forget which slots I'm using, then 10mm plunge and slide from front to back, then 18mm P-slot at the required marked points.
The side panel : Transfer the rail to the side panel at the required position, plunge the DD40 to the required depth at the points already marked with the blue tape.
Then it's just tapping the Divario connectors into place and it's done.
No messing around with the Divario template, no messing around with drilling twelve holes to the right depth (3 Divario's each side).
I had to put in some set back shelves to allow for built in lighting to pass. I worked off the 32mm reference on the guide rail, simply move the masking tape along 1 or 2 notches, and all the reference points work and line up.
Complicated?.. to get my head around at the beginning, yes. But once I had the work flow going, so fast and accurate!
