Hello, I have tried today, to cut out a circle out of the 20 mm construction plywood, using the provided jig. I used the CUnex blade. Initially i have drilled artery hole in the plywood, then inserted the blade and tried to make a cut. The jigsaw struggled to cut the plywood, and then the blade just snapped out of the jigsaw. It did not brake just came out. I set it back reassuring its fully engaged, tried again couple of times but with the same outcome-blade get stacked in the plywood and pulled out of the jigsaw. I have to say that till now i was impressed with its cutting abilities, the jigsaw did cut all sorts of timber without any struggle, but mostly they where straight or curved cuts. I would to ask if anybody had a similar experience, any help is highly appreciated.

Ive cut loads of circles and have never had this problem. I wonder if something is wrong with the clamping mechanism

Easy to do... (Put the blade in not quite right). You can pull on the blade and it comes out. Usually if you push and pull when you put the blade in, then you can hear it click.
Maybe blow air out if tere is crap in the female side of the saw?

Thanks for the replies. The female side is clean, when i have inserted the blade it did click, i tried to pull it out by hand and it was locked in. But the blade did pull out while cutting. I think i should try to contact with Mafell costumer service regarding this issue.

I've bound, bent and broken blades off in inch thick acrylic and never had one let go at the clamp unless it was never seated properly to begin with. That sounds like something's wrong.
