Thats interesting how Mafell is selling to different motors. One with variable speed and one without.
I'm sure there will be 120 volt available. I would also get in Contact with TimberWolf via email. Let them know you are interested in those models so they will be on the lookout and let you know when they come in.
I'm jonesing for the KSS model but have more on the list than I can afford........so I can wait.
Maybe the KSP 85 will go on sale once the new ones come in!......you never know.

Thats a really neat site.
I think this saw combination will be a revolution for Mafell. Like many of there products its a unique solution.

David at Timberwolf and I talked recently and the K 85 is now available in North America but only in 230v.
Mafell always produces the 230v first so 120v should be available in about 4 months.
Contact David if your interested in purchasing as he will be placing an order.

I don't know prices in America but in the uk the k85 is only about £50 more expensive than the ksp85 obviously there will be all the import and tax nonsense but the price might not be that much more expensive

I've noticed that if one converts the list price for Mafell to Dollars thats the List Price for North America. The added cost for 120v seems to be 10%.
KSS for me too!

2300 Watts! Yikes
For what little it's worth, at this time these are some of the cheapest prices I can find in the EU (including taxes) K85 +- €860 K85 Ec +- €980 KSS 80 Ec / 370 +- 1260
I'm really liking the bevel gauge on these

I hope to have a KSS80 in my hands next week! I'll read up on how to post pics and get some up. I have a TS75 that I'll be comparing it to, although I don't expect the two to be on equal ground. I'm really eager to try out the precision bevel adjuster as that's one area my TS75 struggles.

I'm really looking forward to your review and thoughts. That is a sweet saw in conjunction with guide rails.
Did you end up buying through TimberWolf?

Yeah, they're getting their first shipment of these in 120volt today or Monday. So I should have one in my hands towards the end of next week.

I have one F 160 guide to try it on. After I've had a chance to use it I'll look at possibly adding another F 160 and the rail joiner. Any feedback on the joiner? I'm assuming it's less fidgety than joining Festool rails?
