The charger issue is a non-issue since Metabo and Bosch make the chargers and batteries for the Mafell cordless tools. I suspect the real reason is selling enough battery tools to make it worthwhile to have 110v branded chargers.

It seems that the 36V saws will get LiHD batteries - is that right? That would offset some of the drawbacks of the "old" Bosch battery solution and a definite and welcome upgrade for users of the KSS60.
