I love my Beck Machinenbau scissor lift table. Has saved my butt on few occasions. Very sturdy build. I think it is called Niveau 300. It is very handy also when I a unloading lumber etc from my truck. Considering put a grid style hole Mft pattern in the top.

I just looked up your table kalas. It looks really cool and looks like it would be easy to customize. Another item not for sale in the United States it looks like. I am more portable anyway but it looks nice.

A few other tools I though of that I like a lot:
**Troxell leather heads super soft knee pads (I gave up on knee pads before finding these. comfortable with shorts, durable, wont scratch surfaces, washable) **Trojan sawhorses- fast set up, use any 2x material for the top, holds a ton of weight, customize length with longer 2xs. (base of my work table in profile pic) **Ideal tuff tote & occidental journeyman tote (lots of Occidental really, which has already been mentioned) **Festool vacs, Syslite, RO90 sander (a lot of their stuff), systainers. **Rol-Air JC-10 compressor (for finish, not framing etc) super super quiet. great for clients homes or offices in remodel situations too. **Odd one- Basic flat bar- favorite is marshalltown E350 I believe is the model # , Titan stainless steel shorter one is good for leaving in bags

I was thinking about this the other day, what tool has made my working life dramatically easier and one of my favourite tools right now is the leica disto d210, that thing is brilliant, especially when doing wall to wall measurements when you can't get in there properly with a tape this thing is ace and so accurate, also when pricing jobs and doing quick measurements, saves the hastle of messing round with a tape. Totally worth the money

I have the hilti distance meter it's ok and accurate if I was to change I would go for the leica especially the exterior versions no sagging tapes when setting out kits

Good one-laser measures. I have a stabila. Saves so much time when bidding using the square footage feature.

It took me a long time to trust it, kept going over it with my tape, but in the end it was always 100% accurate lieca make some brilliant stuff. I also got the leica roteo 35, which is excellent, from setting out footing and plates to finding gradients and working out staircases is superb (another tool i wouldn't be without)

That Disto 3D is incredible. Eventually that will be common gear as technology advances.

I love the CH Hanson magnetic stud finder. I have given so many of those things to other carpenters on job sites after not being able to watch them struggle any longer trying to find studs. I gave one to a cabinet guy 2 weeks ago and he ended up ordering a few more from amazon because he knew he was already attached to it and would be mad if he lost it and had to wait to find another.

That's an amazing little piece of handiness . Funny, I've done the same thing - given to people so they don't struggle. I have a couple myself as I'd go mad without it too:)
