UPDATE: Spoke with Collins Tool on the phone today. It sounds like the Coping Foot is definitely a "Go!" for the P1cc, he's just trying to sort out the best way to make the connection. Sounds like he was blown away by the cuts he was able to achieve with the P1cc, sounds like we're in for a special treat!! :-) Something he expressed was a desire to distribute to European retailers that also sell the P1cc. Do any of our European members have a suggestion as to a retailer whom they think might be interested in carrying the Coping Foot, be it for Mafell, Festool and/or other brands? If so, please let me know and I'll pass along to Collins Tool Company. BTW, no ETA on when I'll get the saw and foot, I'd rather that he spends whatever time he needs to do this Right.

I also live in NA so can't speak on the European dealer question. Definitely let us know when the Collins foot will be available to purchase. Thanks for your work on this I am looking forward to more options for the p1cc.

I think that the best place for selling Colins Coping Foot will be the D&M Tools, London based. This is family run shop, they carry all leading brands: Mafell (of course!) Festool, Makita, Metabo, De Walt and so on. Every year they make ''The Tool Show'' which is visited by a crowd of specialists in various fields, mention that I'm there every year. The D & M Tool is recognizable in the UK thanks to advertising in professional writings for example. Furniture & Cabinet Making,Good Woodworking Magazine, The Woodworker, they really care about customers, staff is well trained, so what tel more...I love that shop, every time when I'm there I feel like kid in sweet shop . I'm regular customer looking for something what I may need....looking forward to see some day Colins Coping Foot. Here is the adders: 73-81 Heath Road, Twickenham, Middlesex, TW1 4AW Telephone: 020 8892 3813 Fax: 020 8744 1004 email: enquiries@dm-tools.co.uk WWW: D&M ToolsLink to the ''The Tool Show'' The Tool Show

No, best talking to tom as he is in touch with Collins. As it was Tom who was kind enough to send in his own personal jigsaw before he even got it dirty

Has the Collins Coping Foot been released for the Mafell P1CC? If not any idea if or when it will be available please? Hi there! I haven't spoken with Collins since August 27. I'll check in with them again tomorrow or early next week. My understanding is the biggest hurdle at this point is developing the best solution for connecting the Coping Foot to the P1cc, and I'm hesitant to rush Collins on this. I'll check in with them and let you know if I have any new information. Have a good one!

UPDATE: I was in touch with Collins again today, sounds like we're getting close! No firm date yet, and it sounds like this will be a "limited" production run. Here's hoping my next update will feature pics!! :-)
