Jalvis - which blade do you prefer? I saw a few for the Kapex. My original one is starting to dull a little bit and I was considering another one with the Kapex promo coming up next month, but I might just opt for the Tenryu. Tenryu for Kapex

Nothing against the Festool blades, but I prefer the Tenyru for my Kapex much better than the Festool blades.

A few years ago someone on the FOG did a comparison between the Festool, Forest & Tenyru blades on a Kapex. He felt the Tenyru gave the best results.
i must say I was very disappointed with the quality of cuts made by the Festool blades on the Kapex, both 60 & 80 tooth. Replaced them with a Forest, much better. I do plan to order a Tenryu this spring.

I just replaced my blade on my axial glide with an FS Tool blade. 100 tooth. I can't be happier. I wish they made something small enough for the MT55cc.
I am going to look into the Tenryu blades.

Imo the Tenyru are better than the Festool blades at half the cost.

I'm pretty lucky, the saw/blade shop in town is also a festool dealer. The don't highly recommend the festool blades either...

I have a black tenryu blade on my KSS 400 right now. I haven't used it a ton with that blade but the bit that I have I really like it. Same size fits the MT55.

Its also worth nothing that you can always have a blade rebored to fit a tool. The company that sharpens my blades will also rebore for a reasonable price so they get mailed out together.

Here's an example of how I use a track saw. This is with the ts55. I'm in a job now and I'll post pics of the mt55.

Tile was existing. They did put a nice block radiused wall on each side of the deck though.

I like the deck, I like the oxy's, I like the douglas, I like the use of the track saw, I like the glass panel railing. I also came across one of your posts on contractor talk where you called somone a "slut". I liked that too. Your getting so many likes from me you'd think we were teenage girls on Facebook, not a profesh forum.
