I have the MFK too!.. with all the bases including Conturo base - a fantastic tool, would love to get a couple more motors - but not sold on their own.
I think if you're used to the Festool routers, you'd find the Mafell a bit basic. It's great for really heavy duty work, Arunda dovetails cutouts, etc. I use mine for solid surface work, hence the Albin-Kraus base.
The OF2200 is pretty much faultless.

I've ordered in the router rail adapter - Mafell 207200 - I was waiting for a sale or a drop in price... but then I noticed something weird - it was the same price on pretty much every single website - to the cent... if it looks like price fixing and smells like price fixing, it probably is price fixing.
Coming from Germany, still not available in France; same story with the KF1000 - not available in France and the same price on every single website.

The LO-FA rail adapter has been delivered. Very high build quality with lots of nice features. Comes with two rail stop clamps for front back limit stops when routing grooves. I already had a couple, but a definite saving if these are on your shopping list. Works on Festool and Mafell rails, with the rail snug knobs as per the MT55 - very nice. It's all metal, high quailty. Can be used as an edge guide too - so with the edge guide that comes with the LO65 - you will have two for grooving joists, etc.
Strangely it has the lift and lock plunger for the Bosch holey rails... maybe Mafell will be bringing these out, strange to offer a feature for a product you don't actually sell!
Despite initially gulping at the price, I feel it's worth it. Not yet used, hopefully later this month.

Cool thing. Isn’t the plunger just fur use as a compass for circle cutting?
Regarding the router choice: the LO65 is the best build and most precise router I came across. I was trying 12 different or so. Never had a Bosch or metabo though.
After the initial happiness about the of1010, one of my first quality woodworking tools, I noticed some flaws and annoyances. While I already extended to the OF1400, I noticed some shortcomings as well. Although I only came across one member on fog who had similar issues. So maybe I’m picky here. I tried the OF2200, found the some issues and went for the Mafell.
Meanwhile I got some old used Scheer HM16 and HM4 One of each is way past it’s life, the other one is more like the mafell.
I value good dust extraction and actually cannot complain about the mafell besides from the orientation of the hose.
The downside for me is a small diameter opening in the base and only 65 mm plunge depth.
For Edges I have a small Bosch gkf.
The issues I was talking about are play in the plunge mechanism and at the guide bush. I had them at festool but they said it is normal and in tolerance. The OF1010 has some additional annoying features like oval dust port in a bad position and overcomplicated mounting of the guide bush. I sold it at some point because it got practically replaced by the Mafell.
Keep in mind, that are issues for me and probably only one other user. So if one is happy with the tool, I’m happy for it. Maybe it’s lack of my ability, I don’t know.

L'adaptateur Mafell LO-FA est compatible avec des défonceuses d'autres marques ? Absolutely, as long as measurements are correct for the router rods

L'adaptateur Mafell LO-FA est compatible avec des défonceuses d'autres marques ? LO65E uses 10mm bars - 100mm centreIt will work also with the Elu 177E, Dewalt Dw625 - maybe some one can add a few others?
Otherwise have a look at the Bosch router rail adapter. What router do you have?
Vous pouvez m'envoyer un MP en Francais si besoin. (You can send me a PM in French if you need to.)

Looks like a copy/licensed version of the M-power CRB7. Can't go wrong at that price. Not a huge fan of Trend gadgets though, quality not like it used to be.
