Am very tempted to get an MT55. My main application will be to construct various 'boxes' based on 45 degree bevel cuts on birch-ply+ formica (one side only). I am hoping the MT55 + rails + scoring will mean I can get clean and accurate cuts? Any folks out there who could vouch for this? Chat

A few people have complained that the 45 deg cuts are away from the splinter strip cut to size for 90 deg cuts... if you keep separate rails for 45 and 90 deg cuts, this would be ideal and give you perfect cuts.

My preferance for angled cuts is the makita 36v but the mt55 will perform the task adequately for sure.
