I've had a look, I've got a pregnant front rail too... a bump in the middle! Would be interesting to hear from someone who is happy with their rip fence, whether they have pregnant rail or not. I just finished my DIY rip fence (see my other recent post), and I'm super happy with it.

I followed other advice here about using a mafell fence clamp with fence extension at the far end of the rip fence for sheet materials. For wood the fence is fine as it is. I have all the Erika add-ons, sliding table etc. They all come useful now and then.

I know I'll be taking it apart at some point to see if this can be sorted out... annoying but as Tom said, the Erika is 'quirky'.

I was quite surprised about the skewed blade before I knew it was there for a reason
