Hi, I'm looking for a blade to cut acrylic, Dibond (ACM) and Foam PVC sheets. I've read that for best results I need a triple chip negative tooth angle blade. Do Mafell offer a suitable blade? I've asked the shop where I got the saw from and they've suggested this... produkte.mafell.de/en/tct-saw-blade-160-x-1.2/1.8-x-20-mm-6-5/16-in./ft/tt-56-teeth-for-fine-sawingSuitable? I would prefer to stick with Mafell to keep the kerf the same but could be persuaded if there are other options available. Thanks.

Thanks.
Trespa looks like a composite material so I assume this would be OK for Dibond / ACM. Do you think it would also cut acrylic well?
It’s difficult as there is such little info available on the blades. Mafell’s site is next to useless on this front.

Every blade I have tried from 52 to 60 teeth goes through acrylic like a hungry beaver in spring.
(which actually makes no sense, as acrylic is not wood)

I know pretty much any blade will cut it but I've heard certain blades give a much better, almost clear / polished finish. Just trying to track one of these down.

Yeah, I have not closely inspected the finish.... Maybe some experimentation using a stone to put a bit of a negative rake on the bottom and sides?

I don't cut a lot of acrylic, but I do cut a lot of solid surface. I use the Festool solid surface blade - it works well on dibond and acrylic too, not sure about 'polished' finish, but a quick run down the grits and it's easy to get a perfect edge.

Regarding the acrylic, is a follow up flame polish out of the question?
I might call up the particular manufacturer of the sheet and ask them what blade they recommend.
