Started watching the clamp video thinking to myself, "ok, they rebranded a clamp... OH and it slips into the rail slots!".
This was long overdue, wonder why nobody thought of that before...'might' want one, but the need hasn't arisen yet.

I resisted doweling for so long, only using my 40 for shelf pins. After spending a full week adjusting drawer slides I stumbled on the true 32 system; a game changer for cabinet layout systems. I went all in but I could see the doweller working great for that system.

I like the new features quite a bit. Nice little upgrade, actually.

A spring loaded dowel would be a great addition

Yeah so if you had to fix a shelf in somewhere for example and didn't want to see the fixing. A bit like the lamello invis but with spring or a type rubber to expend the dowel into the hole making an invisible fixing

So what's the deal, the DDF looks like the Ferrari of dowelers but does the ZetaP2 have an overall edge because of its range of fasteners and that some of them don't require clamping like dowels often do?

A bit like the lamello invis but with spring or a type rubber to expend the dowel into the hole making an invisible fixing It wouldn't be that hard to do, extra deep hole in the shelf, spring in the bottom before the dowel... but the dowels would need to be undersized so they move freely, and they wouldn't be coming back out... unless by Invis, you're saying metal dowels and a magnetic retractor... great idea though.
I use the Divario for invisible shelf fixings - use the Zeta P2 shelf side and DD40P on the unit side.

I think the Zeta has the edge for knock down furniture. It does nothing strong enough to match a pair of 16mm dowels like the DD40 though. Best to have both!
