Studley was some piano maker who is really most famous for this tool chest now.

I really like the lie Nielsen low angle block plane it's my go to plane. About 4-5 years ago I replaced my record low angle in my to go kit with the lie Nielsen. The record plane I got in 1980 or so. Also lie Nielsens low angle jack plane is a great plane . These are the only planes that get regular use in my shop. Best thing about lie Nielsen block plane it's only $150 or so. And has no problem with curly maple. Ciao Rc

I have a "thing" for block planes, I own at least ten. If I could only have one it would be the LN 60 1/2.
