Hi there, I have just bought the kss60 with the 370 rail, which I love and is an amazing bit of kit. But... I'm wondering if there is any way of extending the 370 rail for longer cuts? Is there any way of attaching the F rail system to it? Thanks for any advice.

Hi don’t think you can add an f rail to it but you can buy a bigger cross cut rail it’s a 770 exactly the same as the 370 just longer it’s part no - 204378 it’s pricy though “but everything mafell is !!” A kss 60 is probably next on my list “don’t need just want “ unsure on corded or cordless at this point ,glad you are pleased with yours .

Thanks for that, seems obvious now but I couldn't find it anywhere. I am really happy with the saw, the only worry I have is it's only 1000w! The kss80 is 2300w, that seems like a big difference in power for 20mm cutting depth. I will put it though it's paces and find out soon I guess.

Didn't want to start a new thread, I hope kdog doesn't mind but does the 770 rail go under KSS80 and the KSS40 18M?
BTW: hello to all, been lurking for some time this is my first post.

Is there any way of attaching the F rail system to it? Thanks for any advice. The Bosch FSN WAN angle guide is another alternative. This one IS extendable with any Bosch or Mafell FSN-type rail to provide extended x-cuts, & helpfully also fits into the standard rail bags too. The FSN 800 rail could be usefully long enough for you? It should be significantly less expensive as well. www.amazon.com/1600Z0000A-BOSCH-FSN-ANGLE-GUIDE/dp/B007258COCThe downside is that just as with any of the linear rails there's no "lock-on" ability, just the locating ridge, nor any auto-retract either.

The KSS 300/KSS 40 uses a different captured track system than the other KSS saws, so the 770 track wouldn't work with that pair of saws. I do not think the 770 track is compatible with the KSS 80. It is my understanding that the KSS 400, KSS 50, and KSS 60 saws all share the same crosscutting tracks. All of the above saws are compatible with the Mafell F-tracks, though the KSS 300 and KSS 40 aren't well suited for bevel cuts on the F-tracks.

The 80 only has the one track.
